Thessaloniki works all year as a real city, not a resort. Winters are cold and wet by Greek standards and summers are humid. Tourism concentrates in summer and around holidays, but the urban infrastructure (pharmacies included) does not depend on the season. That makes it one of the most reliable options for travel outside the peak months.

Distances inside the city are short, so redeeming is rarely a logistical problem. The constraint is almost always the physician's review window, not geography. Choose the plan that matches how far ahead you booked.

The process is the same everywhere in Greece, and the prescription is valid at any licensed pharmacy in the country, not only in Thessaloniki. Redeeming in Thessaloniki
Redemption itself is short: you walk into a licensed pharmacy, show your passport, and the pharmacist retrieves the digital prescription from the system.
