Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect about you, why, who it is passed to, and how long it is kept. It covers medical information, which is "sensitive information" under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981.

What we collect

• Identity and contact details — name as it appears in your passport, passport number, date of birth, email and phone.
• Medical information — your questionnaire answers: condition, symptoms, prior treatments and medication. This is sensitive information.
• Travel details — destination and dates, used to coordinate timing.
• Technical information — the site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Only the display preferences you choose (theme and accessibility settings) are stored, and they stay in your own browser and never reach us.

Why we collect it

For one purpose: to pass your request to a Greek-licensed physician so it can be assessed, and to manage communication with you until a decision is reached. We make no marketing use of it, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to third parties beyond what is set out below.

Basis for providing it

Providing the information is voluntary and based on your consent. You are under no legal obligation to provide it — but without it we cannot coordinate the request, since a physician cannot assess an application without medical information. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Who it is passed to

Medical information is passed to the Greek-licensed physician assessing the request, and to our own staff to the extent needed for translation and coordination. This is a transfer outside Israel — to Greece, an EU member state subject to a data protection regime recognised as adequate. We pass it to no one else, except where required by court order or by law.

How long it is kept

Information is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and to meet record-keeping and reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. The exact retention period is stated below.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law you have the following rights in relation to information held about you:

• Access — to ask to see the information held about you.
• Correction — to ask that information which is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date be corrected.
• Deletion — to ask for the information to be deleted, subject to legal retention duties.
• Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw your consent to its use.

Requests will be answered within the period set by law. If a request is refused, you may apply to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.

Security

Communication with the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to medical information is limited to those who need it to handle the request. No system is entirely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Minors

The service is for those aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information about minors. If such information is found to have been collected, it will be deleted.
